Out for an early morning walk on the Salt Marsh Trail on Sunday 23rd of December. Beautiful day but a little brisk. We met a small flock of white winged crossbeaks, just passed the Bald Eagle Bridge. Can you spot four birds in the picture? Not a common denizen of the trail. We did see a couple of snow buntings in the same area. Hit by a sudden snow squall but a beautiful winter day!
