TREEMERGENCY

HRM has issued 20 permits for the Nova Scotia government to cut 20 trees on Robie and Bell Road for the hospital expansion. Setting the building back from the tree roots would protect them. Neither HRM or the Nova Scotia government is showing any leadership. But public pressure has reduced the cut from 37 to 20 trees. That’s why Friends of Halifax Common hopes to get the issue more attention.

Will you help?
Can you please sign, circulate, share this petition to Stop the Cut of Robie & Bell Road trees for the hospital expansion? Healthcare and trees can co-exist.

The petition is on Friends of Halifax Common Facebook if you want to share it there.
